On Sept 18 2007, Massachusetts Institute of Technology Libraries posted two free podcasts in a series they have begun entitled Podcasts on Scholarly Publishing and Copyright. MIT librarians have also collected a number of reports and links about Open Access on their Scholarly Publications Open Access Initiatives page.
This announcement, and all others, can be viewed on the MIT Libraries News blog. Finally… two recent blog postings which may interest academic librarians:
- Did you know that MIT Humanities Library has a bookmobile? Read about it here. What a great idea!
- “Future proofing” of digital architectural files (The FACADE Project) is described in a June 14 2007 posting.
