The New York Times published an article on Oct 11 2007 regarding the state of dental services available to people living in the United States. The news is not encouraging. Here is an excerpt from this article written by Alex Berensen:

“Experts on oral health say about 100 million Americans — including many adults who work and have incomes well above the poverty line — are without access to care”.
