Have you felt a bit overwhelmed or frustrated by the sheer numbers of new introductions of social media applications which come online these days? Or by a later effect: a Web 2.0 site you enjoyed using or depended upon… but which failed to create a sustainable market and so disappeared abruptly?
Centre for Learning and Performance Technology (C4LPT) has many useful Lists and Links to check for new or untried Web 2.0/social media applications that may be useful for your work (or other parts of your life.) I found quite a few new applications to try out here:
- First, take the Net Fluency Quiz
- A really lengthy list: Web 2.0 Tools Directory
- Top 100 Tools for Learning List (140+ links available here)
- Applications for iPods or iPhones where for example, I found iTranslate or iConjugate in five different languages
- Top Tools for Workplace Learning
- Finally… Jane’s E-Learning Pick of the Day highlights individual new social media/web 2.0 tools
Thanks to Jane Hart, C4LPT blogger and site administrator, for creating these useful lists and link reviews.
